Your TV week: Mystery, drama and a bad boy binge
The Kettering Incident
Monday, July 11
8.30pm on Showcase
GET lost in Foxtel's latest gripping mystery drama, The Kettering Incident.
The eight-episode Australian series, starring Elizabeth Debicki and Matthew Le Nevez, launched on Monday with a thrilling double episode.
Anna Macy (Debicki) left Kettering when she was just 14, shortly after her best friend disappeared while they were playing in the forest.
When Anna returns 15years later, the town is struggling to survive. Anna's reappearance causes a stir.
Theories and rumours persist about what really happened to the girls that night - from Anna killing her best friend to alien abduction.
Then another girl disappears. Anna is drawn to discover what really happened, uncovering secrets buried deep in her mind and the heart of Kettering and its people.
In episode three, airing Monday night, we delve deeper. With Chloe's phone found crushed in Kettering Forest not far from the greenies' camp, Fergus tells the Holloways they will mount a search.
Relations between the greenies and loggers are at an all-time low and Anna heads off on her own search. She decides to visit her childhood doctor, who now works as a tourist guide after being driven out of Kettering due to what she believed was some kind of toxicity.
