HARRISON Mason has "hundreds of thousands" of well-used Lego pieces stored away in his playroom.

With his mum Margi and dad Lee, Harri will travel to the Sunshine Coast this weekend to display his creations at the Sunshine Coast Brick Event.

Margi said she was happy Harri spent his play time building rather than passively watching television or surfing the internet

Some of the collection is up to 40-years-old, passed down from his dad Lee, who hoarded the coloured toy bricks as a boy - the stash is so huge, it is insured by his parents.
