Young singer lives LA dream
IT HAS long been Zoe Eichler's dream to become a world famous singer.
Now her star is set to shine that little bit brighter after recording two songs, a music video clip and having a professional photo shoot in Los Angeles.
Zoe, who lives in Middle Park, first travelled to America in January as part of the International Performance of Performers (IPOP) program.
IPOP provides talented singers, models, actors and dancers from across the world with the opportunity to show off their talent to Hollywood agents.
The 16-year-old wowed the judges during that initial trip.
She was then selected by the American recording company InDaSoul to record two songs that they wrote and produced, as well as make a music video.
This meant another trip back to Los Angeles in July to record the songs Dum Dum and Summer Love.
She also took the opportunity to complete a photo shoot on the streets of the world's entertainment capital.
Zoe is hopeful that it is the start of a long and rewarding career as a professional singer.
"My first song Dum Dum has just been released on iTunes and my music clip is now available on YouTube," she said.
"It is still a little bit surreal, knowing that I have a song which could potentially be heard all around the world.
"It was incredible recording in the studio. I was a little bit nervous but I was also excited to see how the process works.
"Filming the video clip was also a lot of fun. It took around 10 hours to film."
In the coming months Zoe will work closely with representatives from InDaSoul who will help to build her social profile and secure her an agent.
"I am hoping to find either an agent in the States or here in Australia," she said.
"In the mean time, I will keep performing and practising."
