Woman trapped in vehicle

FIREFIGHTERS were required to cut an injured woman out of a four-wheel-drive following a crash at Blacksoil Friday morning.

The woman was a passenger in a Mitsubishi Pajero which lost control and overturned near the intersection of the Warrego Highway and Eleazar Dve about 9.38am.

The vehicle, which was towing a trailer with a jet ski, came to rest in the median strip.

Police say a second vehicle may have been involved.

There was damage to power poles and Energex technicians were called to make repairs.

West-bound traffic on the Warrego Highway was reduced to one lane and there were extensive delays.

Two people were taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment of chest and neck injuries.
