Woman struck by car

A WOMAN has sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car at Springfield this morning.

The collision was reported at the intersection of Springfield Parkway and Woodcrest Way, about 8.15am.

An off-duty paramedic provided first aid to the woman until the ambulance arrived.

She had a broken lower arm and cuts and grazes to her head and was taken to the PA Hospital in a stable condition.

The police forensic crash unit is investigating.
