Woman rushed to hospital with snake bite

QUEENSLAND Ambulance Service is reporting a woman aged in her 60s has been bitten on the foot by a snake on a property west of Ipswich.

The bite was reported at Tallegalla about 2pm this afternoon.

The woman has been taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.

The type of snake involved is unknown at this stage.
