Woman hurt in 5m fall from window ledge

A woman is recovering in hospital after falling from a height at Newtown this morning.

Queensland Ambulance Service report that the incident occurred at about 7.25am.

It is believed she fell about 5m from a second storey window ledge at a private residence.

Paramedics attending the scene treated the woman, who is believed to be in her late 20s, for back pain.

She was later taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.
