Woman freed from wreckage

A WOMAN had to be assisted from her vehicle following a crash involving a bus and a car at North Ipswich this morning.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Waterworks Rd and Pine Mountain Rd about 7.40am.

The woman was encapsulated inside her car for a short time until emergency services arrived.

She was taken to Ipswich Hospital suffering hip pain.

Two adults and five children on the public bus were not injured.
