Woman in custody following crash

A WOMAN has been taken into custody following a single-vehicle crash at Fernvale, north-west of Ipswich.

Police say the 35-year-old woman was driving a Holden Astra along Forest Hill-Fernvale Rd when she crashed near the intersection of Vernor Rd, about 11.26am this morning.

Witnesses said the woman was attempting to overtake another vehicle at the time.

The driver and two male passengers have not been injured.

It is alleged the vehicle is unregistered and uninsured.

Investigations are continuing.
