Woman charged over crime spree

A 22-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with a number of offences after police yesterday located a stolen white 1996 VS Holden Commodore station wagon.

The vehicle, which was linked to a number of crimes in committed in the Lockyer Valley and Ipswich region on Wednesday and yesterday, was found on School Rd at Rochedale at 9.30pm.

Police are still seeking a male for assistance with their enquiries in relation to the theft of the vehicle and a number of alleged related offences.

The 22-year-old Ipswich woman was charged with three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle as well as one count each of attempted robbery and enter premises and commit indictable offence by break.

She is due to appear before the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
