Woman breaks collar bone in crash

A WOMAN sustained a broken collar bone in a two-vehicle crash on the Warrego Highway at Blacksoil this morning.

A Proton hatch back collided with a Toyota Prado at the intersection of the highway and Eleazar Dve about 8am.

The Prado came to rest on its side, while the Proton sustained significant front end damage.

The driver of the small hatch was taken to hospital for treatment of the collarbone injury and a possible knee injury.

Brisbane-bound traffic was banked up for several kilometres, with the highway reduced to one lane on the east-bound side for about an hour.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
