Woman airlifted after falling off horse at Boonah

RACQ CareFlight Rescue has airlifted an injured woman who fell off a horse at a property in Boonah.

The woman, aged in her 30s, sustained a suspected spinal injury.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was dispatched from the Clive Berghofer CareFlight Centre shortly before 4pm on Sunday.

CareFlight's Critical Care doctor and Flight Intensive Care paramedic assessed and treated the woman's injuries.

She was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
