Win for Ipswich photographer in iPhone photography comp

TAKE a bow Glenn Homann.

The Ipswich resident is one of the winners in the ninth annual IPPA iPhone Photography Awards competition.

Homann, who describes himself as a very keen amateur, was one of three Australians to receive recognition for their work, with Homann taking out the panorama category.

His photo (pictured above) was selected from thousands of entries submitted by iPhone photographers from 139 countries around the world.

Homann said: "I captured this photo on what was at the time the coldest morning of the year. It was forecast to get down to 0 degrees Celsius. Anything can happen and it did! Beautiful wisps of fog over creeks and waterways."
