3. Murder Mystery Train

JOIN the Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway and Inside Outside Theatre Company for a night of good food, good drink, laughs, steam and murder as they take passengers on a murder mystery experience.

Set in the 1930's the passengers will get the chance to decide who dunnit as the action takes place both at the Racehorse Hotel during a 2-course meal and on board the steam hauled timber carriages as it makes an evening trip through the West Moreton coal mining region. The trip goes between 4pm and 8.30pm.

Tickets are $80 a head and include the meal, entertainment and the train trip.

4. World Environment Day Music and Arts Festival

CELEBRATE World Environment Day with a huge line-up of live music (right) starting with light acoustics and finishing with electronic dance beats from bands including Lubdub and Andy Dub, Ladi Abundance, Murray Kyle and Essie Thomas.

There will be creative workshops, tree planting, and environment and wildlife displays.

5. Saturday Comedy Club

  • Saturday, 8pm-10pm

  • Studio 188, Brisbane St

 

COMEDIANS Jimmy Poulos and Peter Grose feature at the club this month.

Brisbane's Poulos has some frankly hilarious routines about his Greek heritage. Grose is a familiar face, headlining all over Australia and having performed on many TV shows including Hey Hey It's Saturday. His show has of a balance of stand-up comedy and comedy songs.
