MOST small business owners in Queensland (74%) that have embraced social media believe it has been a success, a nationwide survey from American Express says.
However, more than seven in 10 owners (73%) in Queensland have some concerns about using it, predominantly relating to privacy and resources required.
Queensland small business owners currently using social media are building customer and business relationships, generating leads or new customers, marketing their products and services, responding to customer inquiries and understanding what their customers are thinking.
One in five Queensland small business owners expect to spend more time and money on their social media presence.
