Weather forecasters predict 35 today

IPSWICH is set for a scorcher on Wednesday, with forecasters predicting a top of 35 degrees.

It follows a hot start to the week, influenced by strengthening northerly winds.

Those winds will turn north-westerly by Wednesday.

There is relief on the horizon, however, with a south-easterly change expected to bring cooler temperatures and possible showers by late Wednesday night.
