Wash day to aid clean-up

THE Kruger Village Laundromat is set to host a half-price wash day and free sausage sizzle on Saturday.

R & L McLeod Holdings director Leonie McLeod said it was an opportunity for people to try out the new front-loader washing machines.

“We know a lot of people either don’t have power or have lost their washing machines,” Ms McLeod said.

“This is a chance for customers to use the new machines and do it at half price.”

Proceeds from the day benefit the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

The event will run from 11.30am to 3.30pm at the laundromat at the shopping village on Kruger Parade at Redbank Plains.
