Want to buy a Harry Potter house?
IT'S every woman's dream to live in a house you don't have to clean.
Well, guess what?
That house is on the market and waiting for the right buyer to come along.
At Castle Rumble in Waterford, the more dust and cobwebs the better.
The castle has been a labour of love for owner 72-year-old Brian Rumble, who built the property up from scratch.
"I bought this as a builder's yard in 1985," he said.
During his career Mr Rumble worked on a number of projects including theme parks and heritage-listed buildings, which were the inspirations for Castle Rumble.
"I just started building here, and I've never stopped," he said.
"I'm sad to be selling, but what else am I going to do?
"You have to close one page and open another."
Mr Rumble said ideally he hoped someone would take over the castle and turn it into a tourist attraction.
His son Daniel Rumble currently lives in the castle with his partner and their 12-year-old daughter.
"This place is truly magical," he said.
"We would love someone to take it on and continue it."
Daniel said the castle had been host to banquets, weddings, parties and more.
"Our courtyard seats 100, and you can see Brisbane and Mt Cootha, and from Mt Lindesay to Daisy Hill," he said.
Real estate agent Julie Andrews from Harcourts M1 scored the listing, and said she had never sold anything like it.
"I've visited here in the 90s, and known about the property," she said.
"It's an iconic landmark for Logan, so to market this is a privilege."
The castle features five bedrooms and a study, a costume room, and an entertainment room.
It is open from 2pm to 5pm on a Sunday, and even if you don't want to buy a castle its worth the look into something a little crazy and magical.
The castle is located on Gardiner Rd, Waterford.
