Want to help make this city a better place?

WANT to help make this city a better place? Here's your chance.

The Queensland Times has partnered with law firm Maurice Blackburn to try to understand what residents see as the major needs, or priorities, for the region.

We have an in-depth survey live, details below, that will help us, and no doubt the city's fathers, understand what is important to you.

Do we need better amenities, like playgrounds? Is the pace of residential development worrying you? Are too many roads unsealed and dangerous? Should there be more of a concerted effort to lower unemployment?

We want to understand your views, so it helps shape the paper's coverage of the region in the coming months.

We'll report back the findings in-depth, and with our partner Maurice Blackburn try to pick some quick but significant goals we feel are achievable for all.

Since the survey went up without fanfare earlier this week, hundreds have given us their views.

But you need to be quick, we want to help force the change you want, and thus the survey closes on Sunday at midnight.

As added incentive, those who fill in the survey will go into the draw to win a $500 Visa gift card.
