Big weekend for Pride, Knights and Bulls

WESTERN Pride, the Ipswich Knights and Ipswich City Bulls have important home football games this weekend.

Pride hosts second-placed Brisbane Strikers at the Briggs Road Sporting Complex tomorrow night in a game that will test their recent National Premier Leagues development.

Pride led the Strikers in the first round before falling to their more accomplished opponents.

Sunday afternoon's Brisbane Premier League clash at Bundamba is equally important.

The Knights need to build valuable momentum to keep the club in the elite competition and even push for a finals spot.

The Knights have been boosted by having some young players return from injury and a new signing, Ryan Faichnie, from Capalaba.

The Bulls return to their home field at Brassall tomorrow night keen to upset the Capital League 2 competition leaders Centenary. The Bulls are in the relegation zone and need to regain winning form soon.

The other regional match is Western Spirit's away game against Park Ridge, also tomorrow night.
