Viewers pan ‘contrived’ MAFS affair
INES and Sam have begun their affair on Married At First Sight, but viewers have been quick to point out the similarities between Davina and Dean's cheating saga last year - and they aren't impressed.
During Wednesday night's dinner party Ines and Sam - who also claimed he was sick with the chickenpox - used their code word "cupcake" to sneak away from the rest of the couples for some alone time.

Once alone the pair snuggled up to each other on a couch - which looked like the one that had last been used by Davina and Dean - while hugging and holding hands.
What followed next was some pretty cringe-worthy scenes, with the pair flirting over Sam's chickenpox - yes, really.
"Do you have, like, chickenpox on your chest and stuff?" Ines asked
"I do," he replied.
"Show me," Ines said, touching Sam's bare chest. "Oh, babe. At least we can be sick together."
"Bed-ridden," Sam said. "That would be dangerous."
As their flirting ending with Ines kissing a sore on his head "better," the pair also agreed to opt to stay in MAFS for another week so that they could pursue their illicit romance.

"I already know Bronson wants to stay. I'm stuck so I may as well just say stay, do you reckon?" Ines asked.
"I get what you're saying, yes," Sam answered. "I guess I have to do the same. It's tough. It's hard."
But viewers weren't impressed by Ines and Sam's secret meeting, taking to Twitter to vent that it was "contrived" and they had not "one tiny iota of chemistry".
Innes and Sam should just own it. Don’t hurt others just for the sake of ‘staying in the experiment’ #MAFS

Dean and Davina should have ‘licenced’ this plot line for royalties… #MAFS

Ines and Sam's secret meeting comes after the tradie's new girlfriend gave an interview to Who magazine in which she claimed both had been encouraged by producers to cheat.
"I've known about Ines as he explained the show and what happened on our first date," Akila Ahmunett, who has been dating Sam since December last year, told the magazine.
"At the time he didn't know Ines at all so he just did what the producers wanted, but I know that he is very embarrassed and regretful of it all now."
Married At First Sight continues Sunday night 7pm on Channel 9.
