UPDATE: Crews still on scene of house fire

UPDATE: 

A HOUSE fire that tore through a Lockyer Valley home this morning has been brought under control. 

Paramedics are on standby at the scene but a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed all occupants had been accounted for and were safe.

"There are no injuries so we haven't had to assess any patients," the spokesman said. 

Firefighters subdued the blaze by 10.55am. 

Five urban fire crews and one rural fire crew battled the fire and have since begun to leave the scene. 

 

EARLIER:

FIREFIGHTERS are working to control a blaze which has sparked at a Lockyer Valley address.

A home on Gormans Road, Carpendale, is engulfed in flames and was reported at 10am.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said the first of four fire crews had just arrived at the scene and could confirm the home was "fully involved".

Three urban fire crews and one rural fire crew are en route.

Police are on scene.
