Union meets to plan fight against Ergon job cuts

ELECTRICAL Trade Union State secretary Peter Simpson has met with union representatives from Toowoomba and the Darling Downs to discuss their fight against job cuts at Ergon Energy.

Mr Simpson said the closure of regional depots was also of great concern.

"Our concern is if that happens and the lights go out in Quilpie, we will have to send a crew from Roma," Mr Simpson said.

"We will be campaigning against this government and fighting against these changes on the ground."
