UFC fans in wild street brawl over fight calls
POLICE expect to lay charges against a dozen or more people over a street brawl among Sydney pub-goers watching a broadcast of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
About 50 people were involved in the Sunday afternoon clash, which ended with a 17-year-old hospitalised for a fractured eye socket.
Police believed the conflict stemmed from an argument over rulings in the UFC fight between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
CCTV footage from the pub and nearby businesses was being assessed yesterday by police.
