Two rob Samford Rd bottle shop at Leichhardt

POLICE are investigating the robbery of a bottle shop in Leichhardt.

Just before 8pm two teenagers entered the Samford Rd business and grabbed several bottles of liquor. One of them threatened the female attendant with a bottle. The pair then ran out of the store.

The female attendant was not physically injured during the incident.

The first youth is described as being approximately 14 - 16 years of age and of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance.

He was wearing a blue and white striped shirt, long black pants and green soled running shoes.

The second suspect is also described as being approximately 14 - 16 years of age and of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and red pants.
