Two injured in motorcycle crash in South Burnett

MONDAY, 3.30PM: A MAN who sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on Saturday is currently undergoing surgery. 

The crash occurred on the Bunya Hwy just after 9am on Saturday and two people were injured as a result of the crash. 

A female, in her 20s, suffered abrasions and an arm injury and was transferred to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.

The male patient was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with head and neck injuries.

A spokeswoman from the Princess Alexandra Hospital said the man is in a stable condition and currently undergoing surgery in the intensive care unit.

 

SATURDAY, 11.08AM: Emergency crews are at the scene of a motorcycle accident that injured two people at Kumbia this morning. 

A spokesperson from Queensland Ambulance Service said two people had been injured as a result of the crash at around 9am. 

Queensland ambulance and police services, as well as a helicopter, are still at the scene of the crash at the Bunya Hwy at Kumbia.

One patient has been transferred to Kingaroy Hospital with multiple fractures.
