Two injured after car rolls at Gatton

A MAN is fighting for his life after being thrown from a vehicle which crashed and overturned at Gatton early Thursday morning.

Police said a 26-year-old man was driving the vehicle on the Warrego Highway about 1.20am when he veered off the road and over corrected, entering a grassed median strip.

The car hit a drainage culvert and rolled, throwing the 20-year-old male rear passenger from the cabin.

He sustained life threatening injuries and was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

A 30-year-old female passenger was also injured and was taken to Toowoomba Base Hospital for treatment.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Police are investigating.
