Two hurt in head-on crash at Blacksoil interchange

TWO people were injured after a car drove the wrong way up the on ramp to the Brisbane Valley Hwy at the Blacksoil Interchange.

Police said the people were injured after the cars collided head-on about 4.40pm yesterday at the interchange, which is still being built.

A police spokesman said one person was taken to Ipswich Hospital while the other was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

The nature of their injuries could not be ascertained last night. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
