Two in hospital, one escapes injury in night of crashes

BREAKING: A driver has escape injury after a car rolled on the Bruce Hwy overnight, while separate crashes put two others in hospital.

The vehicle was travelling south at the Sunshine Mwy on ramp to the Bruce Hwy at Tanawha just before 9pm on Thursday, when it rolled.

A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said the one person in the vehicle had no signs of injury and did not go to hospital.

Hours later on Kawana Way a man in his late teens crashed near the intersection of Brightwater Blvd, just before 1am.

He suffered neck pain and paramedics took precautions for possible spinal injuries before taking him to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier in the evening a crash between a motorcycle and car in Maroochydore - near the intersection of King St and Memorial Ave - left one person in hospital with a leg injury.
