Two-car crash causes tempers to flare

A BLUE Hyundai Excel flipped on to its roof after a two-vehicle incident at Willowbank that also led to a complaint of wilful damage in the aftermath.

Neither of the male drivers was injured in the incident that also involved a red Holden Commodore sedan on the corner of the Cunningham Hwy and Ipswich-Rosewood Rd at 2.15pm.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the Hyundai was travelling south on the Ipswich-Rosewood Rd with the Commodore close behind.

The Hyundai turned left on to the Cunningham Hwy when the Commodore overtook. The Hyundai then tried to drive to the right, hit a drainage ditch in the centre median strip and flipped on to the roof.

The driver of the Hyundai, unhappy about the Commodore driver's conduct, is believed then to have approached the Commodore and damaged the windscreen.
