TWO patients have been airlifted by separate RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopters after a single vehicle car crash at Ballogie north west of Kingaroy this afternoon.

The Toowoomba crew was tasked at four this afternoon, and the Maroochydore helicopter was diverted from another mission to attend for a second patient shortly after.

A man in his sixities, believed to be the driver, has possible chest and lower leg injuries.

He was airlifted by the Sunshine Coast crew to Nambour Base Hospital in a stable condition.

A second, older male also sustained possible chest injuries and was airlifted to the Toowoomba Base Hospital by the Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew.

He also travelled in a stable condition.
