Truckie trouble after bringing down phone lines

A TRUCK driver has had a bad start to this morning after bringing down multiple sets of phone lines.

Police received calls in relation to three separate incidents in Goodna and Redbank Plains just before 7am.

Over the course of about 15 minutes, a truck carrying a swimming pool had reportedly brought down overhead phone lines at Albert and Queen streets in Goodna and then at Flinders St in Redbank Plains.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

Police say they have issued a traffic ticket to the truck driver.
