Truck driver killed in fiery crash was from Toowoomba

UPDATE: THE New England Highway south of Warwick has been cleared after a 60-year-old man was killed in a fiery truck crash.
The highway was closed for some time but has now re-opened.
The truck driver killed this morning south of Warwick was a Toowoomba man, police have confirmed.
It is believed the man was in his late 50s.
Crews are still working to clear the wreckage.
EARLIER: Police, fire and ambulance crews are still on the scene of a fatal crash, which occurred on the New England Highway, 25km south of Warwick just before 3.45am this morning.

A Warwick police spokesman said a b-double truck, which was carrying cooking oil, left the road and ended up in the bush.
The truck and the load both caught fire.
The driver was unable to escape.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
