Truck overturns in Warrego Hwy collision with 4WD

UPDATE: One person has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the Warrego Hwy this morning.

Emergency services were called to reports a truck and 4WD had collided near a truck stop between Gatton and Helidon, about 6.10am.

Paramedics treated one person at the scene before transporting them to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

The B-double truck involved in the collision overturned, blocking one lane of the highway as emergency services cleared the scene.

6.10AM: A truck and 4WD have collided near a truck stop on the Warrego Hwy.

The incident occurred between Gatton and Helidon, about 8km west of Gatton about 6.10am today.

The crash is affecting traffic. 

Early reports state drivers emerged from both vehicles with no obvious injuries but are in shock.
