Tiger trips up in Australian Open
THE crowd flocked to The Lakes yesterday to see what everyone thought was a resurgent Tiger Woods after two years of never being out of the news and seldom on the leaderboard.
By the end of the day Woods had slumped six strokes off the pace as John Senden took the third-round lead at the Australian Open.
Halfway leader Woods shot a mediocre 75, while Senden plundered The Lakes for a nine-under-par 63.
Senden posted a 12-under 204 total, one stroke ahead of fellow Queenslander Jason Day with 68.
Greg Chalmers is two strokes behind after a 67, while fellow Western Australian Nick O'Hern and American Nick Watney trail by three.
