Thursday's the day to watch

You'll want to pack a brolly on Thursday if the weather office is on the money with this week's weather.

The bureau is predicting a 70% chance of rain with anywhere between six to 15mm.

The good news is that it's the only wet day this week with mostly sunny conditions forecast for the rest.

Today will see the best of the conditions with sunny skies warming to a high of 27 degrees.

Tomorrow will be a degree cooler due to light winds and partly cloudy skies.

Wednesday will see a top of 27C with mostly sunny weather before the rain arrives on Thursday.

However the wet weather will be short-lived with sunny skies returning on Friday with a high of 23.
