Three-vehicle smash backs up Bruce Hwy
UPDATE 5.20pm: ONE person has been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on the Bruce Hwy at Elimbah.
Queensland Ambulance Service said one person was transported to Nambour General Hospital with chest pains caused by their seat belt.
Queensland Fire and Emergency crews have also left the scene.
Traffic appears to be moving but remains congested in the area.
EARLIER: ALL lanes of traffic have been affected on the Bruce Hwy at Elimbah after a multi-vehicle crash, the Department of Transport and Main Roads has reported.
It's believed three vehicles crashed in the southbound lane between the Six Mile Creek and Pumicestone Rd overpass about 4.30pm.
Drivers are warned to expect delays.
Paramedics have been tasked to the crash.
