Three men in hospital after car smashes into pole at Lowood

THREE men are in hospital following a serious car crash at Lowood, north-west of Ipswich, overnight.

Police say the vehicle crashed into a power pole and overturned on Main St, Lowood, about 1.30am.

The driver was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and two passengers to the Ipswich Hospital.

Police say the men's injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

The forensic crash unit is investigating.
