Three in court on home invasion

A SPRINGFIELD Lakes man is one of three to face court today over an alleged home invasion and robbery.

Police said it would be alleged the men forced entry into a house at Amaranthus Street, Runcorn, and assaulted three teenage occupants about 11.30pm Saturday.

Two males aged 17 and 18 suffered bruising while an 19-year-old girl was not physically injured.

A 19-year-old Springfield Lakes man and a 28-year-old Kuraby man have been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with intent and stealing and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

An 18-year-old Kuraby man has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with intent, stealing and wilful damage and five counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

All three accused have been held in custody leading up to their appearance at Richlands Magistrates Court this morning.
