Thousands explore career options

MORE than 3000 people flooded through the gates of Bremer TAFE for the annual Careers Market Day on Wednesday.

A total of 90 displays from training providers and colleges, universities and businesses attracted students and member of the public from across Ipswich.

Five guest speakers delivered innovative presentations and workshops at the entrepreneurs lounge throughout the afternoon.

A Bremer TAFE spokesperson said the day was a fantastic success and gave budding Ipswich students a chance to check out the great range of career options in and around Ipswich.

“School leavers were treated with a decent variety of choices and had the chance to share their ideas for the future,” the spokesperson said.
