The UN should stay out of our affairs

THE UNITED Nations has criticised Australia for not allowing same-sex marriage because it would mean a Canadian woman, married to her same-sex partner in Canada, could not get a divorce in Australia.

We're told that her human rights will be violated and we could be in contravention of some UN agreement we've signed on to.

Odd that this has come to light on the eve of the LNP focusing on a private member's bill to "force" a free vote in Parliament on the subject of SSM.

This from the UN is an interference in Australia's internal affairs.

It's time to say enough is enough and PM Malcolm Turnbull should tell the UN to mind its own business, because it's up to us to decide how we'll run Australia.

A complete withdrawal from all UN agreements and treaties is long overdue.
