The Coast's newest millionaire has no idea they're rich

BREAKING: They have scored a major cash prize, but the Sunshine Coast's $1 million winner of Monday Gold Lotto is untraceable.

The winning ticket from last night's draw matched all six numbers for the division one prize of $1 million, but Golden Casket has no way of knowing who the Coast's newest millionaire is, or how to contact them.

The ticket, bearing the numbers 4, 10, 6, 33, 11 and 38, was sold at Cotton Tree News, Maroochydore, and was not registered with a Winners Circle Card.

Golden Casket spokeswoman Claire Taylor said there was every chance the winner had not yet checked their ticket.

"Imagine discovering just in time for Christmas and the New Year that you have $1 million to realise your dreams - what an incredible gift," she said.

"If you think you may be holding the division one winning ticket, keep it in a safe place and contact Golden Casket directly on 131 868."
