Teenagers threatened with firearm and robbed in Caloundra

POLICE are investigating after a group of teenagers were robbed in Caloundra late last night.

Around 11.30pm, three boys and a girl were sitting on a board walk on the corner of Ormond and Orvieto Terrace at Kings Beach, when they were approached by a group of unknown offenders.

One of the male offenders threatened the group with a firearm and demanded cash and property.

The offenders, believed to be three males and two females, fled the scene with cash, cigarettes and two bicycles. They were last seen running east along the boardwalk towards the Kings Beach swimming pool.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.
