Resident says teen vandals stole his $2306 numberplate

A NORTH Booval resident believes a group of young vandals are to blame for the theft of his personalised numberplate.

Tyler Clarke said he was being regularly harassed by a group of teens who trespass onto his property and kick over his garbage bins.

Last weekend, Mr Clarke awoke to discover thieves had ripped the licence plate off his 2000 Toyota Celica - and he believes the vandals are to blame.

The missing plate, which read CEL1CA (pictured) had cost Mr Clarke $2306.

The theft is believed to have taken place somewhere between 8pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.

Mr Clarke, 18, said he had no idea why he was being targeted but that he was "sick of it".

"I've never done anything to provoke these kids, but they never damage anyone else's property - only mine," Mr Clarke said.

Anyone with information about the missing plates is urged to phone crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
