Teenager rushed to hospital with suspected brown snake bite

A TEENAGER has been rushed to Ipswich Hospital after reportedly being bitten on the leg by an eastern brown snake this afternoon.

The victim was bitten at Kruger Pde, Redbank just after 4pm.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman says the male teen is in a stable condition and will undergo testing to determine if the bite was venomous and what type of snake was involved.
