UPDATE: Teenager in critical condition after fall from ute

UPDATE 3.30PM: THE 18-YEAR-OLD man who fell off the bonnet of a ute remains in a critical condition.

Bronsan Kershaw was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital on Monday morning.

The incident occurred just after midnight on Moonstone Dr in Urangan.

The Chronicle's Facebook readers paid tribute to Bronsan in a series of posts.

"Thinking of you Bronson (sic) ....speedy recovery mate," Melissa Mernin wrote.

Sharon Showler said she was thinking of the family.

"Prayers and thoughts with Kershaw family l hope Bronson (sic) is going to be ok," she wrote.

Justine Christerson offered to drop off home cooked meals and toiletries to the family while on a trip to Brisbane.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Police are investigating the incident.

EARLIER: AN 18-year-old man was flown to Royal Brisbane Hospital after falling from the bonnet of a ute on Moonstone Dr, Urangan.

The teenager has skull and facial injuries and is in a critical but stable condition.

The incident occurred just after midnight on Monday.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

The ute has been impounded for 90 days.
