Teen duo charged

TWO Ipswich teenagers have faced court over multiple armed robberies on convenience stores and pizza delivery drivers.

Police arrested and charged Dale Brown, 18, from Bundamba and Frank Albert Le Grice, 17, from Goodna, with the armed robbery of two stores in North Booval.

It is alleged that the pair entered a convenience store at North Station Rd on Monday, threatening the attendant with golf clubs before fleeing the store.

Later that evening, the same two males allegedly raided a store on Gledson St, again armed with golf clubs.

They allegedly assaulted two store attendants while attempting to access the cash register, before fleeing with cigarettes.

Brown has also been charged with five counts of robbery in company following a series of robberies of pizza delivery drivers between March 18 and March 26.

Both men were remanded in custody after facing Ipswich Magistrates Court yesterday.

Brown's case will next be mentioned on May 1.

Le Grice will next appear on May 16.
