'Bomb' found attached to window at Raceview house

POLICE are investigating an incident in Raceview last night where a suspicious device was located at a residence in Wildey Street.

At around 9.15pm police were called to the residence after the device was found attached to a window.

Specialist police attended the scene and rendered the device safe.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

There is no further information available at this time and investigations are ongoing.
