Super Hornet aerobatics for Queensland Raceway

FLIGHT Lieutenants Robert Cousland and Dave Murphy will put years of training to the test this weekend when they guide their Super Hornet on several high-speed manoeuvres over the Queensland Raceway.

The pair will try to stun, thrill and impress rev-heads all at the same time, with their high-speed aerobatics on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

"We start with a low-speed, low altitude pass at the maximum speed of about 1000kmh and 80m altitude," Flt Lt Cousland said.

The fly-overs will take place Friday, 11.50am-12.05pm; Saturday, 2.10pm and Sunday at 3.35pm.
