LETTER: Six hours waiting on motorway for a tow
ON Sunday , March 20 at 2.30am I broke down on the Ipswich Motorway at around 2.30pm.
I contacted my breakdown service, but they said they couldn't help because I was on the motorway and this was a "priority dangerous situation location" and as such I had to contact the motorway tow group.
They couldn't be reached until I had made four calls.
When they did turn up it was 8.30pm, yes six hours later.
The question I want answered is does this tow truck company have an exclusive motorway contract and that stops everyone else?
It was just an ordinary tow truck that eventually arrived.
